Tuesday, October 10, 2023 – National Night Out

A national community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships

October 10, 2023
6:30 PM — 8:30 PM on Park Boulevard @ Eddington Street
Free to attend + free tacos, ice cream and face painting

In lieu of our October General Membership meeting, residents from all ECA-represented neighborhoods are invited to join us for a FREE! block party — similar to our annual Spring Fiesta. Stop by to meet local representatives, police, constables from Precinct 6 and resident neighbors.

We will be debuting a new ECA Little Free Library, paired with a book exchange (we encourage you to bring some books to trade!)
—AND—
we will conduct a survey to hear your thoughts about METRO’s proposal to replace the Lockwood Boulevard treed esplanade with bus-only rapid transit lanes.

This is a free event, we plan on having tacos, ice cream and face painting

Featuring eats and greets, the Eastwood Civic Association hosts two annual events, both free for community members from all ECA-represented neighborhoods to attend:
Spring Fiesta in April and National Night Out in October.

Join us to learn about civic engagement initiatives, how to volunteer for projects that appeal to your interests, and most importantly—to meet our neighbors! Pets and bikes are welcome!

October 10, 2023 will kick off with a book exchange to celebrate the new Eastwood Little Free Library and a survey regarding the proposed METRO project along Lockwood Boulevard.

Free tacos and arts activities for the kids!
